What do Paediatric Physiotherapist's do?

Anchor 1

Paediatric Physiotherapist's provide assessment, intervention and therapy to babies, children and adolescents. We are skilled in assessing and identifying movement and developmental delays, injuries and possible underlying conditions. Paediatric Physiotherapist's also provide evidence-based advice and therapy to promote gross motor development, community participation and improved quality of life.

Therapy and recommendations should be motivating, fun and target the child's functional goals.

No referral is required to see a Paediatric Physiotherapist.

Paediatric Physiotherapist's can see children without a diagnosis, with a diagnosis/NDIS funding as well as children who require assistance in gaining a diagnosis and applying for Early Intervention/NDIS. Paediatric Physiotherapist's also have a range of outcome measures and tools to assist with such processes.
